Brilliance Inspiring One Another – Celebrating Student Achievement
During our recent Brilliance Inspiring One Another assembly, we were delighted to recognise and celebrate the many students who have consistently demonstrated our College values by awarding Semester 1 Commendation Badges.
Commendations acknowledge the positive choices, behaviours and contributions our students make each day. They are awarded by staff to recognise students who:
- Achieve an outstanding assessment result.
- Assist in a College activity or event.
- Consistently wear the College uniform correctly.
- Consistently work hard in class.
- Contribute positively to group work.
- Demonstrate care and consideration for others.
- Show increased application in a subject.
- Lead by example around peers.
- Receive a Mandela Award for Social Justice.
- Represent the College with distinction.
- Set a good example to classmates.
- Use teacher feedback for improvement.
- Show courage in a difficult situation.
Each semester, students are recognised for their achievements through our Commendation Badge program. Students who receive 5 commendations are awarded a Bronze Badge, 10 commendations earn a Silver Badge, and 15 commendations earn a Gold Badge. These badges are proudly worn on students' blazers as a visible recognition of their commitment to excellence, positive behaviour and contribution to our College community.
