In 1990 I arrived in Australia as a refugee from Vietnam. I worked as a volunteer for the United Nation High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and by 1993, I had completed my studies at Monash University. I joined CBC St Kilda in 1994 as a member of Office Administration team and enjoy working with students, staff and parents.
I am always pleased to see students successful in their education, nurtured through faith and care. Year by year I say goodbye to them as they graduate, ready for another chapter of their lives. At times, I receive phone calls from our Old Collegians, keeping in touching with us. It is like they are family members who have matured and moved out of home - but are still thinking of their sweet old home.
I am very grateful to work with parents who are so supportive of our students’ learning. CBC is a place that we are all working together for one purpose: educating our children in “Liberating Education, Gospel Spirituality, Inclusive Community, Justice and Solidarity.”
