There has been a buzz around the College this week as staff prepared for the start of the school year, our students return, and the first days of St Mary’s College. A transformation has taken place, as new signage has appeared proudly displaying our new identity. Classrooms have been revitalized with a fresh coat of paint and new furniture. Students will enjoy additional subject choices and facilities as we now are a two-campus co-educational School.
We welcomed new staff at Induction Day earlier this week, celebrated the new school year with a Staff Mass joining with St Mary’s Primary. We have had professional learning and reconnected with our colleagues in planning sessions. On Edmund Rice Formation Day all staff deeply explored the Edmund Rice touchstones of Liberating Education, Inclusive Community, Gospel Spirituality, and Justice and Solidarity and how to apply them in the culture of our new co-educational School.
Positivity abounded as we, a faith learning community, prepared for a year packed full of opportunities for both boys and girls, truly a school for all.
