The Year 9 Nobilitas Program provides a unique and engaging learning experience for students at time of significant importance in adolescence. Our curriculum is built on a foundation of authentic and experiential learning opportunities that aim to provide relevance and real-world context for everything that we do.
In Term 1, students have been preparing for our end-of-term learning exhibition during which they will get to share their learning with a real audience. The Sustainable Futures class, in collaboration with Food Technology, have been preparing to construct our own sustainable vegetable garden that will provide much of the fresh vegetables and herbs for our school kitchen.
In Term 2, the exciting new Connect Program begins, during which students will work collaboratively and authentically to develop leadership skills and connect with the local community through the Community Leaders Project. Students will also develop a deeper understanding of the self, as they learn about resilience and emotional intelligence, and explore their own future career pathways.
